The Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair welcomes members of the media and appreciates their role in sharing the excitement, traditions, and stories that have made the Fair a River Valley favorite for 90 years. Held annually at Kay Rodgers Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair brings together visitors from across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and the surrounding region for multiple days of family entertainment, agriculture, livestock competitions, live music, specialty attractions, fair food, and midway excitement.

Mighty Thomas Carnival

The Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair is proud to partner with Mighty Thomas Carnival, bringing a colorful midway filled with rides, games and attractions for guests of all ages. Mighty Thomas Carnival has a long tradition in the outdoor amusement industry and is an important part of the Fair experience, providing the sights, sounds and excitement generations of fairgoers have come to expect.

Photography & Video

Media photography and video are welcomed during the Fair. Advance coordination is recommended for interviews, behind-the-scenes coverage, livestock areas, entertainment performances, and other locations where access may be limited. Certain performers, attractions and events may have individual photography, video or recording restrictions.
