The aim of 4-H club work is to teach boys and girls, through practical project training, how to become more useful and progressive citizens. The program is well balanced, as the 4-H emblem itself represents equal development of the head, heart, hands, and health. The 4-H program is organized and conducted to emphasize loyalty, fellowship, and citizenship. The development of leadership is one of the chief aims of 4-H club work.
